This role is part of our Personalized Creative team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalized, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviors, and shift market share for our clients, including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more.
The Role
You'll be helping us build the future of our agency through effective talent acquisition strategies. As a dynamic and flexible member of the DEPT team, you'll need to create a balance between social and technical components of your role. You'll be strategic and executional, understanding this role is equal parts project management, relationship building, and actively recruiting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic member of the DEPT team representing recruitment and P&C to ensure alignment with organizational goals and sustainability of its recruitment and onboarding programs
- Develop a deep understanding of our organization's skills, goals, and interests to identify gaps and opportunities for growth
- Work with stakeholders and P&C in defining critical hiring needs to attract diverse candidates for their teams
- Recommend and drive improvements to stay at the cutting edge of domain expertise (Creative & Media)
- Manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment and remain organized under tight deadlines
- Own all aspects of the recruiting process, including sourcing talent, advising hiring managers, job posting, screening calls, and offer negotiation
- Establish trust and perception of bringing expertise and an educated, business-focused point of view to the table
- Build proactive recruitment pipelines by reaching out and maintaining contact with talent from other organizations who can make good additions to the team now or in the future
- Build and maintain a large network of freelance contacts to support short-term hiring needs
- Create an organized and efficient sourcing and vetting process with hiring teams
- Lead a team of sourcers
What We Offer:
$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience
Who You Are:
- Able to engage candidates effectively and activate passive candidates
- Understands and executes against shifts in the marketplace presenting recruiting opportunities in an agency setting
- Industry knowledge in Creative & Media recruiting space with ability to understand relevant skills, target companies, open source communities, etc.
- Strong project management skills
- Can navigate ambiguity when priorities change, remaining focused, productive, and seeking guidance on how to respond
- Possesses a strong professional brand within the team elevating one's ability to create value
- Ensures work proposed/being done maximizes the recruiting process and/or candidate experience
- Prior experience sourcing/recruiting in Creative & Media industries, heavy focus on agency and contractor hiring
- Minimum 3-5 years in recruitment/staffing role focused on designers, copywriters, account managers, etc., with a large network of contacts
- 2+ years of experience in an agency setting is a plus
- Experience managing/mentoring a team is a plus
