As a Digital Forensics Specialist with KPMG Canada, you will play a key role in the execution of client engagements involving the identification, acquisition, processing, and analysis of digital information for e-discovery matters.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the e-discovery process flow, document review, and Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) cycle. Experience with Nuix, Relativity, and other e-discovery platforms/tools is highly valued.

You will be responsible for assisting clients in organizing and maintaining Electronically Stored Information (ESI) according to leading e-discovery practices and compliance with client requirements. This includes collaborating with clients to understand their e-discovery needs and recommending appropriate solutions and strategies to address their challenges.

Key responsibilities will include overseeing the identification, collection, and preservation of electronically stored information; managing the processing of collected data, including data culling, filtering, and data reduction techniques; supporting the document review lifecycle by employing various technologies to efficiently identify potentially responsive documents; and advising clients on leading practices for implementing and managing legal holds.

A successful candidate will possess three-to-five years of relevant experience in e-discovery, strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a keen understanding of the legal framework of e-discovery.
