Black & McDonald's Mechanical ICI region team is expanding its operations. If you're a motivated and detail-oriented professional seeking a challenging role, this position may be the ideal fit for you. As a Project Coordinator, you'll work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the successful execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate site planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating assigned projects
  • Monitor progress, schedule, quality, costs, and manage project change under the direction of senior leadership
  • Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budget analysis and cost projections
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure project deliverables meet company standards
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors
  • Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Engineering Degree or Diploma
  • HVAC Technology Diploma or relevant experience
  • 3-6 years of Project Coordination experience in the construction sector
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient knowledge of contract management, construction scheduling, and project execution
  • Proficient user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
  • JD Edwards or an Oracle-based ERP system is an asset
