The Distribution Manager at Pharmascience is responsible for leading all activities related to distribution at the Dorval site. This role involves managing all aspects of receiving, replenishment, shipping, customer returns, and product destruction for the Canadian and International markets. The successful candidate will also be responsible for inventory management, control, and accuracy.

Key responsibilities include managing improvement projects for activities related to the Dorval Distribution centre, collaborating with members of other distribution sites, customer service, and various Pharmascience departments to monitor operational objectives and key success factors, control distribution costs, and promote appropriate actions to correct discrepancies.

The Distribution Manager will also ensure that internal and external customer concerns are handled professionally. This includes identifying objectives, ensuring necessary tools are provided, and maintaining an environment that meets quality requirements and ensures GMP requirements are met.

Additional responsibilities include analyzing operational and budget statistics, implementing corrective measures to reach operational objectives, and communicating inventory results regularly to different departments. The successful candidate will also identify opportunities for improvement and risks, develop and implement new methods to be more efficient in operations and controlling costs, while providing superior service to internal and external clients.

Health and safety is a critical aspect of this role, and the Distribution Manager will participate in the health and safety committee and related activities, identify needs, issue action plans to maintain a safe environment, promote health and safety in the workplace, enforce company and CNESST regulations, and suggest improvement measures.

Finally, the Distribution Manager will be responsible for employee management, including hiring staff, managing and evaluating their performance, developing the team's potential and versatility, identifying training needs, and developing training plans with resource persons for the team.
