About the Role

As a Distribution Center Supervisor at Lantheus, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation of changes to increase productivity efficiency and accuracy. This includes handling radioactive and pharmaceutical products in accordance with current Canadian regulations, ensuring timely compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, and promoting adherence to all relevant policies and internal procedures as well as regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of changes to improve productivity efficiency and accuracy.
  • Handle radioactive and pharmaceutical products in accordance with current Canadian regulations.
  • Ensure timely compliance with Standard Operating Procedures for all covered products.
  • Promote adherence to relevant policies, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate deadlines for deliveries and product movement on the dock.
  • Manage distribution center inventory and submit timely reports.
  • Foster a positive work environment, encouraging effective communication throughout the organization.
  • Examine and resolve operational problems, collaborating with stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain proper storage conditions for products, including monitoring the VAISALA temperature system.
  • Adhere to security procedures and oversee equipment management.
  • Contribute to distribution center projects and audits.
  • Ensure safe work practices.
  • May be required to work overtime to meet customer service objectives.
  • Actively participate in implementing Lantheus values.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
In the Absence of the Distribution Center Manager

This employee will assume oversight of day-to-day operations within the warehouse, completing tasks and communicating with customer service and courier services as needed. In cases of administrative decisions, assistance from upper management may be requested.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Five years of experience in supervisory roles and warehouse/logistics management in highly regulated environments (medical imaging or pharmaceutical industries are valuable assets).
  • Bilingualism is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize needs of internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Licenses: life truck license.
  • GMP knowledge and assets are beneficial.
  • Transport certification for dangerous goods (Class 7) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
  • Ability to lift loads up to 23kg (50 lbs).
