Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the JD Edwards ERP system, including building and deploying new packages, installing ESUs, system upgrades, monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and supporting end users.
  • Manage and deploy SQL Server databases across the environment, including performance monitoring, security management, backups, and more.
  • Create and maintain existing systems documentation to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and support integrations between database systems and application systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Act as a Tier 3 support specialist for ERP and SQL systems, handling escalated incidents and service requests while guiding the Tier 2 support team.
  • Ensure business continuity of database systems in a disaster recovery scenario.
  • Participate in projects focused on continuous improvement and contribute to the IT department's larger goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in server administration, database platforms, virtualization, and cloud-based technology.
  • Project management experience or certifications are considered an asset.
  • ITIL, ISC2, and Microsoft SQL certifications are also an asset.
