We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Bilingual Regional Director of Operations to lead our remote sites in Québec. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Increase division revenue and profitability by developing forecasts, analyzing operation capabilities, and ensuring budget adherence.
- Operational Excellence: Provide tools for success and set operational standards, goals, and expectations.
- Client Relationships: Build strong client relationships, conduct business plan reviews, and drive account retention.
- Strategic Planning: Implement new business strategies in collaboration with Compass support functions.
- People Management: Attract, develop, and retain associates; develop succession planning and provide a safe, supportive work environment.
- Labour Relations: Support the labour relations strategy process for unionized accounts, interacting with representatives and administering fair policy and procedures during negotiations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and support multi-unit management teams in attaining financial and operational goals.
Requirements:
- Senior Leadership Experience: 10 years of senior leadership experience in Remote sites facilities management.
- Complex Environment Management: Experience managing multiple sites in complex environments (union and non-union).
- Financial Management: Proven financial management skills within a comparable size business portfolio.
- Leadership and Communication: Strong mentor and leader with an ability to build client relationships at all levels.
- Language Skills: Excellent decision-maker with strong communication skills (written and verbal) in French and English.
- Travel and Adaptability: Comfortable with a dual-reporting relationship (Food and Facilities Management) and willingness to travel.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
