About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at Rising Edge Group. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of client billing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date job cost details to support billing and AR subledgers
  • Review and approve invoices for distribution to clients, ensuring strict confidentiality of financial records
  • Distribute approved billing to customers through various channels, including email and portal
  • Receive third-party payments, prepare and process receipts for customers as needed
  • Post and reconcile customer payments to general ledgers, and post A/R data to profit/loss reports, balance sheets, income statements, and other documentation
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, credit balances, refunds, and adjustments

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, including data entry, reporting, and analysis is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of ViewPoint Construction Software would be an asset
