Job Description

This role involves performing various accounting functions, including accounts payable, timesheets, and general accounting. Key responsibilities may include:

  • Accounts Payable:
    Reconciling corporate credit card statements, preparing payment runs, and creating/entering expense reports.
  • Timesheets & General Accounting:
    Maintaining inventory codes within Sage, reconciling timesheets, and providing backup support to other accounting staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary education in a relevant field (accounting or business administration).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary, ranging from $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Other benefits include semi-business casual dress code, company events, extended health care, dental care, disability insurance, employee assistance program, life insurance, on-site gym, paid time off, and vision care.

Schedule and Location

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate must be able to commute or relocate to Calgary, AB, before starting work.
