Job Title: Nurse 2 Position

Grace Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the ICU department. As a Nurse 2, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent nursing services to patients, including administration of prescribed medical treatments.
  • Take a leadership role within the healthcare team and facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge.
  • Maintain and provide proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
  • Participate in professional associations, such as the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM), and maintain current BLS Health Care Provider registration.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
  • Current ICU experience preferred.
  • Satisfactory employment record required.
  • Knowledge of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses, Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses, and other legislated acts.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Competency in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions, and values.
  • Ability to prioritize care for an individual patient or group of patients.
  • Ability to respond to a variety of simultaneous demands.
Physical Requirements:
  • Good physical and mental health.
  • Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical effort.
