We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Claims Adjuster, Accident Benefits to join our team at CAA Club Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling automobile, long haul trucking, motorcycle, and recreational vehicle Accident Benefits claims of low to moderate complexity and severity.

Key Responsibilities

* Investigate and evaluate claims to determine entitlement to benefits
* Process and assess new claims, conducting thorough investigations and needs analyses
* Facilitate coverage and deliver superior customer service
* Establish priority of Insurers/Loss Transfer/WSIB
* Guide and assist insureds through the claim process to achieve service excellence and successful file resolution
* Ensure timely and effective responses to stakeholders, including lawyers, clients, doctors, rehabilitation facilities, and service providers
* Make benefit payments as per legislation
* Obtain approval from Manager on claims above authority

Requirements

* Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
* CIP or working towards designation
* Minimum of 2 years experience handling casualty claims
* Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to understand insurance contracts in various jurisdictions
* Knowledge of principles and practices of claims settlement, policy wording, fraud investigations, and coverage issues
* Ability to cross-reference information with attention to detail
* Strong general computer knowledge
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
