About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager - Operations to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Development
    • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Financial Management
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Performance Management
    • Conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback for growth and development.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient stock management and minimize waste.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.
  • Marketing and Customer Service
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our brand and services.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operations Management
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient and effective restaurant management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods.
    • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Accurate and reliable with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
