Job Summary

The Client Services Representative plays a pivotal role in establishing the initial connection between MEDLOG Transport & Logistics, carriers, and customers for seamless order fulfillment. This position requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure accurate information is gathered and entered into the system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in tandem with other departments to guarantee the correct information is gathered and entered into the system.
  • Ensure carriers respond to orders within 2 hours of dispatch, either accepting or rejecting them.
  • In the event of a rejection, reassign the order to a different carrier.
  • Handle all pending orders within 2 business hours and utilize the dashboard correctly.
  • Develop professional relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and clients.
  • Compile a daily list of available loads to guide the team handling appointments.
  • Trace empty containers not returned to depots or terminals.
  • Monitor dwelling containers at carrier depots and terminals to prevent MEDLOG-caused storage accumulation.
  • Investigate carrier charges after 72 hours of delivery to ensure they are either disputed or added to the order.
  • Oversee orders not ready for invoicing to track updates in the system.
  • Ensure container statuses are updated correctly for daily deliveries.
Qualifications and Competencies

All MEDLOG Canada employees are expected to embody the MSC Values, striving for customer-centric results in all interactions with colleagues and customers alike.
