Job Title: Vice President, Client Services

WCB – Alberta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Vice President, Client Services. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective delivery of claims management and representing the organization externally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the achievement of the organization's mission, vision, and values as a member of the Strategic Management Council.
  • Collaborate with the executive team, Board of Directors, and external service providers to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex administrative and operational issues.
  • Provide inspirational leadership and clear direction to ensure efficient and quality processing and delivery of claims management.
  • Oversee the first level of review for claim and premium-related issues through the DRDRB.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic five-year business plan and annual corporate objectives.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess senior management experience in a complex organization, with a proven track record of leadership and problem-solving skills. A strong business acumen, advanced planning, organizing, and negotiating skills are essential for success in this role.

The successful candidate will be a results-oriented individual with the ability to initiate and implement change, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to understand and relate to complex, multi-faceted issues.
