Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Language Instructor to join our team at Maple Vantage Education Centre. As an English Language Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching English as a second language to students of various ages and backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Develop and deliver lesson plans to students of various ages and skill levels
    • Prepare and administer tests and evaluations to assess student progress
    • Provide feedback and guidance to students to improve their language skills
  • Course Development
    • Design and develop curriculum materials for English language courses
    • Update and revise course materials as needed
  • Student Support
    • Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their language learning goals
    • Assist students with language-related tasks and projects
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and management
    • Provide regular progress updates to students and parents
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in teaching English as a second language
  • Language Skills
    • Fluency in English
  • Other Requirements
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
