About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Language Instructor to join our team at Maple Vantage Education Centre. As an English Language Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching English as a second language to students of various ages and backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans, teaching materials, and outlines for courses to meet the needs of our students.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and administer tests, papers, and evaluations to assess students' progress and provide feedback.
  • Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students in achieving their language learning goals.
  • Program Evaluation: Conduct regular evaluations of courses and programs to ensure they meet the needs of our students and align with our centre's goals.
Requirements
  • Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese are assets.
  • Work Setting: Our centre offers room and board to our instructors.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
