Cameron Driver Education 2018 Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process, ensuring that our organization attracts and retains top talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Selection: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • HR Administration: Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, notify applicants of results of selection process, and prepare job offers.
  • Employee Relations: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, determine eligibility to entitlements, and arrange staff training.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Word.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, adaptability, ability to multitask.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Support for Youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth, offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.
