At Aviva, we're looking for a skilled Property Field Adjuster to join our Field Claims team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for handling personal and commercial claims, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site and virtual inspections of claims to assess damages and determine the scope of repairs.
  • Write repair estimates to settle claims and reconcile vendor estimates to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate claims by gathering information from insureds, third parties, witnesses, and lawyers.
  • Review policy details, technical reports, and case law to make informed decisions on coverage and claim value.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and keep related parties informed of claim status.
  • Ensure data accuracy and issue payments to insureds, vendors, and other insurance companies.
  • Assist during Catastrophic events in Canada.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Field Adjuster handling personal and commercial lines claims.
  • Strong background in Property Insurance.
  • Ability to scope damages and prepare repair estimates.
  • Good PC skills and adaptability with new technology.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel between Ottawa and Gatineau.
