About the Role

The Senior Accountant at Computacenter is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. This involves leading international transactions, reviewing journal entries, and reconciling general ledger accounts on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-company margin transfer and interco company balance reconciliation.
  • Review and reconcile all G/L accounts.
  • Manage daily bank and cash operations, including weekly cash flow projections and ACH and wire payments.
  • Review and calculate rebates.
  • Approve new vendor setup and serve as the primary point of contact with major vendors on credit limits.
  • Assist with accounts receivable and payable as needed, providing guidance to the team.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of Senior Accountant experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Bonus Points

  • Knowledge of Great Plains and SAP is highly desirable.
  • Strong accounting and analytical experience.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with service billings is an asset.
