Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Technician to join our team at the University Health Network. As a Research Technician, you will be responsible for performing wet lab experiments, assisting with project management, and contributing to the overall operations of our labs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced molecular biology and biochemistry techniques
- Assist in processing clinical samples and maintaining research notebooks
- Participate in project management, including report generation and communication with collaborators
- Contribute to the overall operations of the labs, including space and equipment management
Requirements
- BSc in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline
- At least 6 months of relevant experience in a research laboratory setting
- Advanced knowledge of modern molecular biology techniques and/or chemistry tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
