Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Spicy Fusion Cuisine Ltd. As a key member of our culinary operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to our food service staff, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge and achieve their full potential.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with our chefs, kitchen staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
