We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our Mid-Market Lending Transformation Program. As the Transformation Program Accountable Executive, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the program, aligning with our business case, OKRs, and KPIs. You will establish a governance structure, prepare the business case, and approve budgets and timelines for workstreams.
Key Responsibilities- Establish a culture that cultivates alignment, engagement, and recognition, and embraces empathy and collaboration.
- Provide direction and oversight to ensure successful delivery of initiative objectives, including benefits realization.
- Approve all mandatory program management artifacts and relevant setup documents.
- Hold accountable workstream/project leads and senior stakeholders for realizing benefits and providing subject matter experts.
- Understand and monitor the risk profile of the program/projects and address issues and key risks.
- Monitor aggregated progress of workstreams and projects.
- Champion the initiative across BMO and manage executive-level stakeholder expectations.
- Escalate issues and risks to executive sponsors when time/cost/scope objectives are to be exceeded.
- Update regularly and request approvals from executive sponsors.
- Concur on leadership roles, hiring, and staffing decisions within the program.
- Prepare the agenda for the steering committee and decision forum and chair supporting routines.
- Support the accountable program director with overcoming resistance, clarifying business priorities, resolving escalated risks, and establishing an effective program control environment.
- Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Seasoned expert with extensive industry knowledge.
- Technical leader viewed as a thought leader for innovation.
