Strategic Financial Advisor for Interior Health

Interior Health, a reputable healthcare organization in the region, seeks a highly skilled Strategic Financial Advisor to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. This role will play a crucial part in facilitating the achievement of the organization's mission, goals, and objectives.
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is between $88,990 to $127,923 per year, with consideration given to qualifications, experience, and internal equity review.
Job Description
The Strategic Financial Advisor provides expertise, direction, and accountability within a financial framework to support the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of Interior Health or specific portfolios. Key responsibilities include:
- Compiling, analyzing, and interpreting financial/statistical information for distribution to Leadership Teams.
- Utilizing financial reports, forecasts, and budgetary information in strategic decision-making around resource allocation.
- Providing operational support from a business context and within clients' business environments in an efficient and effective manner.
- Developing strong liaisons with clients to ensure they receive assistance on developing issue papers, project charters, business plans, or other materials required to meet current and future objectives.
- Creating or providing input on new policies, processes, and strategies.
- Participating in Leadership Team and portfolio meetings.
- Adhering to Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times and attending required training.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

- Multi-tasking and performing numerous tasks for various clients within acceptable time frames.
- Excellent computer skills to access and manipulate data from various systems.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
