About the Role:
Interior Health is seeking a Strategic Operations Manager to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This role will provide expertise, direction, and accountability within a financial framework to facilitate the achievement of Interior Health's mission, goals, and objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and interpreting all financial/statistical information for distribution to Leadership Teams. They will utilize financial reports, forecasts, and budgetary information in strategic decision-making around the use and allocation of scarce resources.
Key responsibilities include providing operational support from a business context and within clients' business environments, developing strong liaisons with clients to ensure they receive assistance on developing issue papers, project charters, business plans, or other materials required to meet current and future objectives.
Other duties include creating or providing input on new policies, processes, and strategies, participating in Leadership Team and portfolio meetings, and adhering to IH's Occupational Health & Safety Program. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as experience working in an organization of similar size and complexity.
Salary: The estimated salary for this position ranges from $88,990 to $127,923 per year, based on consideration of qualifications, experience, and internal equity review.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree equivalent education and experience
- Completion of an MBA, MHA, CPA, or other relevant designations
- Five to seven years of experience relevant to the duties of the position
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Customer service orientation with the ability to lead, influence, and develop others toward reaching organizational objectives
- Ability to participate on a multi-disciplinary team and ensure deadlines and milestones are met
- Ability to adapt and produce high-quality results in a constantly changing environment
