About the Role

We are seeking a Claims Manager, Property to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in achieving the Atlantic Property team's goals. Responsibilities include ensuring quality claims management, driving employee engagement, implementing efficient work processes, and meeting key performance indicators.

This is a full-time permanent position based in various offices across Atlantic Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and communicate a clear vision to support team objectives
  • Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve exceptional results
  • Oversee recruitment and development of team members
  • Establish best practice workflows to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Manage operational budgets to ensure effective resource allocation
  • Develop strategies to meet key performance indicators and drive business growth
  • Ensure quality work standards are maintained across all claims
  • Make informed decisions on claims payments to ensure fairness and accuracy

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 5+ years of management experience in a similar role
  • 7-10 years of claims experience with a focus on property claims
  • Claims adjuster license required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to drive team success
  • CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) preferred
  • Bilingual English and French is an asset
