The successful candidate will lead and manage a small team in delivering strategic Asset Management Roadmaps and implementations while consulting with clients on tools, policies, and decision processes to effectively manage municipal infrastructure.

We are seeking a skilled Asset Management Advisor to join our Advisory Team in British Columbia, Canada. This full-time remote role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a $80,000 - $110,000 annual salary, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluation and Development:
    • Research best practices in infrastructure policy and strategy development.
    • Evaluate client asset management needs and opportunities.
    • Develop infrastructure needs assessments and risk management programs.
  • Consulting:
    • Support municipal clients in coordinating or implementing asset management improvement initiatives.
    • Maintain strong relationships with senior management and director-level audiences.
    • Contribute to client asset management projects with knowledge in infrastructure financing, business case development, and operations and maintenance.
  • Project Management:
    • Guide internal and external stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
    • Effectively communicate project information to clients and project teams.
    • Ensure clients' needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Canadian and international asset management standards and best practices.
  • 2+ years of experience in managing, planning, implementation, and application of municipal asset management procedures, practices, tools, and techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a similar discipline.
  • OACETT certification, IAM Certification, and/or professional engineering designation are assets.
