We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parks Maintenance III to join our team at the City of Brooks. As a key member of our Parks Services Department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all parks, pathways, sports fields, cemeteries, and other related park amenities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment operation, repairs, and upkeep.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of parks and facilities.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including chainsaws, front-end loaders, mowers, hand tools, bucket trucks, and snow removal equipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of experience in parks operations, municipal parks, horticulture, golf course, or landscaping.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with Q-Endorsement.
  • Pesticide Applicator, CSA Playground, Fall Protection, Flag Person, Confined Space, Standard First Aid, WHMIS, Ground Disturbance, and Parks & Sport Fields Operator Level 2 Certificates.
