Job Title: Government IT Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Government IT Technical Business Analyst to join our team at First Tek. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating them into detailed technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead consultations and facilitate stakeholder meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Create business requirements, functional specifications, and technical requirements to support project delivery.
  • Develop and implement new business and technical processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate business process improvement sessions to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Assist in the development of new IT services and support the application support and development manager.
  • Provide support by bridging communication between vendors, client ministries, and corporate technical and business teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions to meet business needs and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum years of experience as a business analyst translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Experience in developing integrated system and technical design specifications on multiple technology teams.
  • Experience in facilitating and managing business process development and process improvement sessions.
  • Experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience with project management and business analysis.
