Job Summary
We are seeking a Manager, Privately Held Business Group to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for providing solutions to clients for accounting matters and working with them to achieve growth in current business and financial conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide solutions to clients for accounting matters and work with them to achieve growth in current business and financial conditions
- Lead and execute client engagements, providing exceptional client service to a wide variety of business sectors
- Plan and lead teams, ensuring client expectations are clearly communicated
- Proactive problem-solving with the team and the client
- Contribute to new business development by understanding Grant Thornton and its service lines, as well as utilizing your credibility with clients
- Participate in the coaching and performance management process of the practice by conducting timely performance reviews, providing ongoing feedback, and training to develop junior team members
Requirements
- Experience working with owner-managed private business clients within a public practice scope
- Demonstrated success in business development, advisory, and team management
- A team player able to rally resources and work with others to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of the client
- Strong interest in coaching and development, with a commitment to personal growth
- Demonstrated ability to meet the professional and competency expectations of the position
- Being an articulate, inspiring, and versatile communicator
