Job Title: Industrial Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Japa Equipment Rentals Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work on machinery, detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions, and repairing or replacing defective machinery parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including hydraulic systems, power tools, and power transmission systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective machinery parts, including pumps and compressors, tool grinders, and hand tools.
  • Fabrication: Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Environment: Physically demanding work environment, with overtime required.
