Job Title: Industrial Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Japa Equipment Rentals Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work on machinery, detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions, and repairing or replacing defective machinery parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including hydraulic systems, power tools, and power transmission systems.
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts, including pumps, compressors, and tool grinders.
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
