Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Global Waste Services Inc is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and safety of cargo.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, performing emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Logistics: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, and transport and handle dangerous goods.
Requirements:
  • Licenses and Certifications: DZ class license and valid driver's license.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in long-haul trucking.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
