Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Driver at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. As a key member of our moving team, you will be responsible for safely transporting household goods, office furniture, and other heavy items while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, establishing a rapport and building trust in our services
  • Recommend moving services, boxes, supplies, and equipment to meet customer needs, ensuring a seamless moving experience
  • Obtain customer feedback throughout the move to ensure ongoing satisfaction and resolve any concerns promptly
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and provide timely feedback to management
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our products, services, pricing, and promotions to effectively communicate their value to customers
  • Perform daily truck inspections, maintain accurate logbooks, and ensure all paperwork and revenues are properly processed
  • Safely move, pack, and unpack customer belongings using proper equipment and techniques
  • Organize and secure trucks at the end of each job, ensuring they are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and equipment inventory
  • Adhere to company policies, including those outlined in the employee handbook and presented by management
  • Participate in regular training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong commitment to customer service, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Knowledge of Provincial and Federal driving requirements and regulations
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items, as well as a good sense of balance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
