Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Driver at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. As a key member of our moving team, you will be responsible for safely transporting household goods, office furniture, and other heavy items while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, establishing a rapport and building trust in our services
  • Recommend moving services, boxes, supplies, and equipment to meet customer needs, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience
  • Obtain customer feedback throughout the move, addressing any concerns and proactively resolving issues
  • Communicate effectively with customers, management, and team members to ensure a smooth and efficient moving process
  • Perform daily truck inspections, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle, and adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Accurately calculate charges for services and complete all move-related paperwork, ensuring timely and accurate payment
  • Safely load, transport, and unload customer belongings, utilizing proper moving equipment and techniques
  • Organize and secure the truck at the end of each job, maintaining a clean and professional environment
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Knowledge of Provincial and Federal driving requirements and regulations
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and load items into the truck, with a good sense of balance and coordination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of driving experience and six months of moving industry experience preferred
