Database Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Database Analyst to join our team at Canada Resurgence Developments Ltd. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement within our organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement a strategic blueprint for database deployment and management.
  • Design, develop, and maintain computer databases to support business operations.
  • Liaise with staff to understand data requirements, collection, and availability.
  • Setup and configure IT infrastructure to enable applications to access databases.
  • Test data models and database management systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models.
  • Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policies.
  • Develop policies and procedures for network access, data backup, and recovery.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Oracle, data analysis software, MS Office, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience with database management systems and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Work Environment:
  • Hybrid work arrangement.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week.
