About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Specialist to join our team at Canada Resurgence Developments Ltd. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's database infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement within our IT infrastructure
  • Develop and implement a strategic blueprint for database deployment and management
  • Liaise with staff to understand data requirements and ensure data availability
  • Setup and configure IT infrastructure to support database access and usage
  • Test and validate database models and management systems
  • Design and develop databases to meet business needs
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data and inform business decisions
  • Develop and implement data administration policies and standards
  • Research and document data requirements and administration policies
Requirements
  • Oracle and SQL skills
  • Experience with data analysis software and MS Office
  • Python programming skills
  • Strong understanding of database management systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is hybrid, with a mix of remote and in-office work. The primary language of communication is English.
