Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our team at Amplitude Contracting Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining refrigeration systems, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot heating systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, utilizing welding and brazing equipment as needed.
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment, ensuring accurate and safe connections.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices, ensuring system functionality and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating systems.
  • Handle, recover, and store refrigerants, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems, utilizing technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods, as required by the job.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all work performed.

Requirements:

  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field.
  • Permanent employment, with a standard 35-40 hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
