Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Clearance Clerk to join our team at Landmark Global. As a Customs Clearance Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of international trade by preparing and processing customs documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process customs documentation for imported and exported shipments, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Apply harmonized tariff codes and determine the level of duties and taxes to be paid.
  • Verify and process permits, CFIA, and other OGD documentation as required.
  • Monitor shipments until released and update knowledge on regulatory changes.
  • Liaise with customers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate customs clearance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college diploma or CEGEP/vocational training an asset.
  • 1-2 years of previous customs experience.
  • Strong knowledge of tariff classification according to the Harmonized system.
  • CCS designation an asset.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word programs.
  • Data entry skills.
