Job Title: Business Support Analyst L2

Medavie Blue Cross is seeking a highly skilled Business Support Analyst L2 to join our team. As a key member of our Medicare Programs team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our stakeholders, including DHW, providers, and residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to the physician and resident appeal process, providing support and recommendations to enhance efficiency.
  • Closely track, monitor, and document the physician audit appeal process, ensuring timely completion and accurate decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders through phone, mail, email, and fax.
  • Coordinate Facilitated Resolution and Arbitration meetings, including participant coordination, logistical arrangements, and documentation preparation.
  • Develop and maintain reports to support the review and processing of Pre-payment assessment audits.
  • Acquire the ability to function in various roles, enabling training for future new employees.
  • Complete other customer-facing and internal support functions as required to support the business area.
  • Work collaboratively with IT and other business partners to resolve issues arising in daily operations and systems associated with Medicare Programs.
  • Develop training materials and support systems for the business area in conjunction with People Leaders.
  • Manage the update and development of business area procedures.
  • Perform audit processes for Medicare Program areas, such as BTO, in accordance with established schedules and policies.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports for the Surgical Access program.
Required Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a health-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to prioritize workload independently.
  • Proficiency in POSv, PRN, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • English language proficiency.
