Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with physical disabilities, as well as providing rehabilitation services to help them regain their independence.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat patients with physical disabilities, including those with spinal cord injuries, amputations, and other conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to help patients achieve their goals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
- Completion of a residency program in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
- Current licensure to practice medicine in Canada.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
