About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Engineering Operations in Thunder Bay. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive business plan for our Thunder Bay office, driving growth and expansion in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a business plan for the Thunder Bay office, aligning with the firm's strategic objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, driving business development and growth.
  4. Oversee the development and implementation of operational processes and procedures, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Collaborate with regional and national teams to achieve business objectives and promote a culture of innovation and excellence.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  1. A university degree in engineering or a relevant field, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in a consulting engineering firm.
  2. Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading multidisciplinary teams.
  3. Strong business acumen, with experience in business development and growth.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  5. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
