Schedule:Full-Time
Remuneration: $150,000 - $220,000 per year (100% commission based)
Job Overview
The Sales Manager will work directly with the Sales Consultants in achieving departmental goals and objectives. Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing sales performance, training and coaching the sales team on sales process, and assisting the General Manager in ongoing training of staff in all aspects of the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze sales consultant performance to ensure department profitability
- Train and coach the sales team on sales process which supports established sales targets
- Assist the sales consultants in exceeding sales goals and objectives
- Articulate vehicle selection, attributes, model options, features, purchase and finance options, and dealership policies/services to sales staff and customers when needed
- Measure and report sales metrics, and monitor actuals – to – plan
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years Automotive Sales Management experience in an automotive dealership
- Valid VSA license required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectations
