Job Title: Senior Compensation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation Specialist to join our team at Volkswagen Group Canada Inc. in St. Thomas, Ontario. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing compensation and benefits programs that align with our company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, compliant, and cost-effective.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their compensation and benefits needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Provide expert advice on compensation and benefits matters to employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate fees for benefit programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian regulations and laws related to compensation and benefits.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits.
  • Provide training and support to employees and managers on compensation and benefits matters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian compensation and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
