Silent H is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in creating exceptional dining experiences. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Analyze operating costs and data to inform menu planning and kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and equipment to enhance the dining experience.
  • Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Create innovative menus and recipes that meet the highest quality standards.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and banquets.
  • Supervise and train cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences for weddings, banquets, and specialty functions.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to ensure timely and high-quality service.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Recruit and hire staff to maintain a skilled and motivated kitchen team.
  • Supervise and train sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure high-quality service.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve kitchen operations.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
