The Standard Luxury Tavern is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. This is a permanent position that requires 35-47 hours of work per week.

Job Description

We are looking for a professional with a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in the food service industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to work under pressure, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, supervising staff, training employees, estimating ingredient requirements, and preparing budget and cost estimates.

The Executive Kitchen Supervisor will also be responsible for ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints, maintaining records of stock, sales, and wastage, and preparing reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in food service management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Knowledge of WHMIS, Smart Serve, and Safe Food Handling procedures
