About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Director for Operations to join our team at Heartwood Kitchen and Bath. This is a permanent, 30 hour per week position with a competitive salary.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring seamless delivery of administrative services.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve optimal efficiency and productivity.
  • Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources, or other administrative services.
  • Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within established guidelines.
  • Interview, hire, and provide training for staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a leadership role.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a results-oriented approach to achieving goals and objectives.
  • Judgement and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and make informed decisions.
  • Organized and efficient, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
