About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at KLCA CPA PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights for business decision-making.
  • Payroll and Taxation: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, optimize financial performance, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Computer and Technology: Utilize Caseware/Caseview, MS Excel, and TaxPrep to maintain and analyze financial data.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, overtime required, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
