We are a reputable accounting firm seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our clients' financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Payroll and Tax Compliance: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management to optimize financial performance.
  • Computer and Technology: Proficient in QuickBooks, MS Office, and spreadsheet software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
