Job Title: Social Work Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Work Coordinator to join our team at the Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing social work services to Indigenous individuals and families, including counseling, case management, and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide social work services to Indigenous individuals and families, including counseling, case management, and advocacy.
  • Develop and implement programs to support Indigenous individuals and families, including education and training programs.
  • Work with community partners to provide services and support to Indigenous individuals and families.
  • Provide support and guidance to Indigenous youth and families, including counseling and case management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous community members and organizations.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in social work, preferably with Indigenous populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and histories.
