Social Work Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Work Coordinator to join our team at the Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing support services to our clients and contributing to the development of our programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess client situations and problems to determine the types of services required
- Supervise other social workers and staff members
- Perform administrative tasks and provide counsel and therapy to clients
- Plan programs of assistance for clients and refer them to relevant agencies
- Provide public education and consultation regarding counseling services and issues
- 3 years of experience in social work or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
